St Pauls Carnival in Bristol UK began in 1968 to represent Windrush communities also to bring recognition to the history of Bristol. To show what was possible against a backdrop of institutional racism cruelty and oppression. Very little has changed in society since then.
The Carnival remains and we shall Dance the blues away and make plans for better days.
