But art in its most raw.The character John Brute is a amalgamation of many different peoples who i grew upp with and was shocked loved and scared by.
Thease songs came together so quickly and thease songs were taken from my some of my old poetry books.

Some of the lyrics and attitudes expressed are very harsh.
Some of the lyrics are written by me “uncles” who wanted their stories told… ..some are just creative exploration of what i saw overheard and visualised
It is not a child friendly or family friendly. But its all about family. In a way .
This is a solo acoustic album which was recorded in a day by Jim Riley at Ranscombe studios Rochester.
It only features one other voice me “brother” Boika Esteban on the track Iwas born down south…
I originaly never wanted to record thease songs but me friends on hearing thease songs “nagged” me into doing them …
