Be grateful the Brute way 21.12.23

when I was young, I was told these western nations are Christian nations. They have their subjective truths, their way of doing things. They dont require or need your opinion mr. Luck. I was told to keep me mouth shut. To follow the programme. Also to, “play the white man it is so important Babar, If you wish to be materially and financially comfortable”, I was told…. Hmmm….

SO it came to pass DO Chk our latest album exclusively via https://babarluck.bandcamp.com/album/the-chronicles-of-john-brute-part-2

To discuss our latest musical homage to the aunties and uncles that raised me in the wonderful metropolis that is London. That is why we have Babar Luck aka John Brute. The shezaas and Geezaas that made me. Bowie had Ziggy Stardust I have john Brute. We discuss a song that hits that nail on the head in a abstract honest way. Also the song we shall discuss is so appropriate as for me it is closest to a Gospel a kawaalee a hymn a chant “there is a place in the choir for all the children.” (hmmm…sometimes)

I try and not talk of these topics. One track on this album. Just one track. Jah Shiva the gods and goddesses guide my hand. As I walk through the valley of death as many are every day since the beginning of time ….u know that one?

https://babarluck.bandcamp.com/track/they-dont-live-that-lifestyle

They dont live that lifestyle is a song where we take on 3 diff voices. Three diff backgrounds and cultures.

That three characters are of non faith and almost take pride in their secular ways attitudes and ideas. The chorus is someone of faith gently chastising them and telling to be in essence grateful.

1st verse “My little boo boo boo you now I Love you when I met you first I told you no one above you I am out there bits and pieces to do man’s got to do what a man’s got to do”.

1st chorus & it is the same chorus each time

They dont live that lifestyle They dont live that lifestyle No, You be grateful for Gods little mercies For Gods little mercies for the kafir(Godless person) the faithless Gods little mercies Gods little mercies For the children at your table Gods little mercies Gods little mercies don’t be hateful These are Gods little mercies

2nd verse kabee nei kaam kharo ghai mai choree kara ghai Ghunda bhadmashe khai saath chaloo ghai EH chup mera ghadee lao EH chup mera pasai lao (rough translation of the Urdu Punjabi I will never work I will steal with bad peoples and violent peoples I will run with, shut up!!! bring my car, shut up!!! bring my money)…..

The second chorus same as 1st chorus

3rd verse “As i drink the blood of the enemy I want to live a life of peace but they persecute my children and my family good man need to become a bad man to get them see”

3rd chorus the same as the 1st chorus

Above is a great band bashing it out. In every city there are one or two very good bands. That do it in their own way me bigging them up wont help them achieve the dizzy heights of success. https://www.errollinton.com/ But they did have Mick Jagger dance to them. Like sir Mick Jagger discovered Living colour and what colour is music? Depends on the paradigm and situation on is in. The band above play a blues based music via Mali and Africa. So do I.

In a society so contradictory and savage we have characters like the man above. He does try and save as many animals as he can. Above is a seagull that could not fly. That man above is possibly following the Buddhist principles. As we say some live it and some just talk it.

My dietary needs and requirements strangely peoples tend to make their opinions about one without knowing one.

I eat anything kill anything that is me one of me jokes or is it?

Am I just following what the Kafkaesque society dictates? Yes we could discuss that as well. Not this time till next time…

Above our last show of the year and we are looking for more in 2024… get in touch I can be compliant and sweet.
