Babar Luck’s World Citizen Folk Band

More than aware that a better world is possible, Babar Luck formed his World Citizen Folk band in 2008 a continued attempt to sing and deliver his message of love, strength and unity to the world.

While their band name speaks loud and for its self, the songs they play speak louder, with 4 albums now released Babar Luck World Citizen Folk Band continue to bring love and shine light in these all too often dark and divisive times.

Their acoustic and contemplative folk music played on guitar, violin and cajón is sometimes dubbed ‘Sci-fi Folk’ , softer and more soothing than Babar Luck’s other acts, Yet Babar Luck’s lyrical content remains the same as ever ‘Honest’ and ‘Hard Hitting’.

Babar Luck’s World Citizen Folk Band come highly recommended to fans of Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros Richard Thompson Bob Dylan and Babar Luck. A sound combined with Trip Hop Beats and Reggae rhythms and further influences of African, Sufi, Bollywood and country music, makes a sweet symphony.

We have recorded our 5th and final album of that style and sound. It is called Resistance. The first single will be called “A World Gone Way Over Crazy” .
