“Like Ronnie the Rocket knows we got hott shotts” thats a line from one of me albums and me only fictional character i do do. called Jhon brute aka Babar Luck . That character bizzarely is wrritten and putt together by humans that i grew upp with. But coz the “vibe” is not me i took on the sudinnim – of Jhon Brute coz it is not me. Hope that makes sense. Above is a picture of Aide Hardy (his hand actualy)he has had a hand in 5 albums of mine -He is a creative and a caring person also a harsh speaker when he wants to be. Coz those are the tools he uses. I called him affectionately the other day “a white platininum motherxxxxxr” a joke (coz Tom is a nice bloke and he is aware of me humour he was kool) That is a phrase that Bongo Eddy who played with Kid Creole and the Coconutts and James Brown used to describe white people- Specially if they are very white pale like white paper- that kinda hue- how i know that is coz Captain hotknives had some time with him(Bongo Eddy) who is a good friend from upp north a comedic songwriter topp musician and a great basss player from uk Bradford way (We have recorded two albums together(he plays bass with me) here is a link to the second one which is a full band album https://babarluck.bandcamp.com/album/captain-hotknives-luck-strike-when-the-knives-are-hot … Jokes? We have shared lifes woes and highs and lows. Some will know him from me friendship with him. Some will be amazed we still know each other after all thease years. We have had many times of non contact but dare i say friends have to be honest to each other. Above is a book i am reading and the second one from this writer as i say read books non fiction cause the fantasy of our world will be made clear. Just words and ideas and thoughts. Above is a bitt of a ticket to a journey i made last month i like small momentos and how by chance it looks that way – that was me last trip out in the musical way we have another trip out this friday 14th feb 2020 & it is incidently the birthday of two of me dear musician friends baby boys how wonderful. This week gone we have managed to get Raastaa which is a album and the third from The Babar Luck world citizen folk band documented-

That sci-fi folk sound some like to call it. In a way its appropraite we recorded the first chunk of it on friday 31st jan 2020. That date may mean something in the future. For me it will mean having documented around a dozen songs that have been practiced for last two and half years. Thease songs mean a great deal infact they were about twenty songs and in the editing and constant chopping some songs have been waylaid or forgotten and some have been torn out and some songs i have fell out of love with.

Thematic yes and damn happy to make that concrete statement -yes Happy to have done that.

Firstly a big thanks to the sir Eddie real for being patient and caring and respectful enough to assist in this procedure. Legacies we are both aware of. I only know Eddie as a gentleman and a very good percussionist and musician. I was not aware of his legacy and i am sure he is not realy aware of mine. Thats what makes that work. Thats why i suppose we got the work done which is a labour of LOVE. Thats what i do. Its all a act of LOVE. Because i am only in it for the music(which i LOVE) and the joy and light it brings(which i also LOVE)

I know the dark as well they are both equaly great teachers.

Also thanks to Al for bringing some bass into the procedure. We hope to have Al proceed with that we are not in a rush. But we will get it done sooner then later in musical sense of the world – or in Jamaican sense of humour dare i say ” soon come” – But that sound and that vision i have for TBLWCFB (the babar luck world citizen folk band ) can be heard in the first two albums via https://babarluck.bandcamp.com/

People oft ask me why bother to do something artistic that usualy has no monetary award? Or whats the point?

The point is there are many rewards and the process if one loves that process can be repeated a thousand times. Its like loving someone that special someone. So those great loves of the past and present is why i do me artistic music and enjoy the whole process because it satisfies me and brings joy and light to humans.

Particularly for me also i bring the dark sometimes most dont hear it because most dont listhen but its there – its maybe your greatest fear its there and its conquered.

Or i allow the dark to seep in to make me complete. We cant be all light. we cant be all dark.

Also Because i am worth it. you are worth it. we are all worth it. There is a place in the choir for all the children. Or Equal rights and justice is a mustice. Sleep tight or have a good day or a good thought for all humanity and remember the Babar Luck 3 points (cliched but true)

Jody and i got on and Mr. O kane said “keep that feller close hes a good musician ” and his partner said in that way women do “hes good at many things ” anyway i lost him and then another chapp who knows of me and hes from The invisible orchestra said come and do a track with our band which meant i found him again in a sense –

So the “Leader”(in a way) James Waring how he found me through messaging and sending the track and then asking and getting me the dates and then so forth and so on fro a long while -its like i tell peoples -peoples ask me every other day “lets collab” but what that means and what that entails is them persueing me and persuading me and actualy doing the work instead of a vague sentence on the internet or a pm message – And who do i think i am?? – the fact is i know who i am – most DONT have a clue –

Also i am not a people pleaser most of the time or a nice man so that can also mean delay in getting that objective done – Its nice to be nice and its good to be good – I am not nice or good – people like to argue with me about this and thats funny – ha ha ha ha ha ha- its not and it is – Also i am not very good at collabbing or clubbing depending on what type of clubbing one means – some whould differ ok i have me good days and bad days – meaning i aint the most consistent of chapps – also i am very consistent of chapps – thats why i am the unofficial mayor of towns cities and provinces – you can figure that out yourself – you have studied and learnt and have been valued in your decadent western culture like me – most on this earth are not – Count thy blessing – Enjoy simple things – Be grateful for what you got –

Its fasionable to extend our thoughts to those who are less fortunate in certain times of the year? Is that common throo out the spheres? It seems so ..or do i want to provoke YOU to catch your attention now where was i?

the scents the smells the sights and sounds as we smile at the children and what better reason then to have that happen those ritual times of seasonal joy ..this extends to all parts of our globe in different times …

whilst this constant flux that commotion this towing and throwing of power -Did something happen?

Did we loose sight of our senses did we lock down our spirits the passion was and IS important

who whould deny a good argument good discussion but who knows whats going to happen ..

what is the differance the company we keep and try to complete and emulate desire to belong to? There is a point and its somewhere in us all

..thats why i do what i do for example..and its very confuseing for most who hear and read and write with me and stay with me and love me and want to be vice versa poetic to a fault this scent lingers in me hold the hands and dont let go embraces that make the angels blush who are we foren bodies inside other foren bodies..

People have a habbit of getting very emotional about everything and it seems we all come at things from a selfish viewpoints and the sellfishness is dominating all no matter what or how its done and advice is commen but whats the point and where does that come from and whats the point realy as we load upp in any way we can and face the machine that dominates all freedoms and its not very easy to let those close to us know that they are so wrong as we see it and some times this no has to be a physical and there is a right way and wrong way especialy as this is going to effect us u and me

Dear humans i know lott goes on and whats a man like me saying this or that?

Well as i am a Yogi i am told. Of sorts jokingly in me world people even have called me a Messiah or a Prophet. I am not that. Not me in any form. What form shall we take then – love is the key. Forgiveness and acceptance and as i say one can forget the bad things of the past whilst the future comes. Be open to positive outcomes.

The last 3 shows were lovely and life confirming thanks to Attila for the show at Duke of Wellington Shoreham by sea & Karl Phillips and Doozer Mcdooze who i played with for the first time. Attila the Stockbrocker is a Topp poet and writer and a believer in many good things. Special mention to Arthur who attended he is a Real One.
