There was Uncle Nutts polishing his guns. I observed. Uncle Nutts is one of the main inspirational protagonists in the last full band album we have done. Uncle Nutts a genuine character who I admired and loved. Because of him many peoples I know are walking around with their loved ones all physically happy and enjoying those spring showers. The character John Brute is not so grim. But he knows the system and he has done his time. All he wants is peace in the sun. He self obsessed and needing power and control. John definitely pities the poor. He knows that he could never live that way. Imagine not having things. Shiny things and pretty things. Those finer things. There must be business and there must be compromise and the “Looking away is ok”. Those were the types who I idolized when young THEY taught me all i needed to be just like THEM.

How did this idealism creep in to my psyche? How did I let this Idealism rule me life? How did We surrender to a greater source and life? How did We turn our back on that cash?

I can tell you I have great regrets BUT I learn to live with them. I learn to cherish that knowing and that feeling and those feelings. The smile from those that get me make my heart glow. We cant stop. Sometimes even when the fists rain down on me takes me to another world. Instant karma. Simply knowing I made the right choice. Above pic in that is a elder but I older then . He made that choice from Rhodesia then what became Zimbabwe then what was USA and then what is UK then he is here the quest aint done, We all need to be FREE …. till that day…

Protest is essential. No matter what your values and beliefs. It is simply breathing and living. Many elders and wise humans teach the young to do this. In our decadent nation that has its hands bloodied throughout the world. As it is a ruling power and works hand in hand with other ruling Empires to have its way. To do what it wants. It has a ideology and ways of making it work. Cruelty and barbarism is a natural path it takes.

Dare I say they have their moments of extreme sadness. I detect and do stress the fact that humor is also a essential part of their lives. As is to study history and to check all viewpoints.

To also be with humans who may have different viewpoints. That’s called maturity or being a decent person. Have you tried living with humans you love? You will then get my point. Compromise is never easy. Changing how we think is a slow process. That’s why this life is a beautiful wonderful test.

There are other things closer to home that one can raise awareness off. It seems obscene that there is homelessness…It seems vulgar and disgusting that this is allowed to happen. Again there are many people raising awareness of these things far more learned then I. The young see it and are saddened by it effects us all. Greed greed and more greed callousness not sharing no care in the community….again what do I know? Who am I to judge?

I make music with all types of humans. They hang about for a while and then they move on. I am not a monetized business but it is a serious Love I have. I do fund it all or I find/borrow/acquire the cash. Those who work with me do it because they like the music. They genuinely are puzzled with how I live. To say I dont love them and value them would be wrong. I do. It is a amazing thing. Every musician that has worked with has high levels of tolerance. That’s just tolerating my jokes.

Police are the biggest gangs in town. They represent the Government and the state its views and its favouritism. Bizarrely we are fortunate to have some form of reprise and some sort of sway to possibly change what they have wrongly done. Some say lots of things against the police to be cool usually that means they are safe and protected. Or a collaborator. Or a actor. Or a snitch. In real life or in front of them they are obedient. Police and its structure is not independent it is totally hand in hand with the government and its value systems. Also of the society one lives in and creates. We are all complicit.

Justice……hmmm….There is a pecking order that depends on how close one is to the state and government. Also whether one is able to pay for a lawyer. Possibly one can get assistance in getting a lawyer. Also lot of the times injustice occurs because peoples are not equipped with legal knowledge or how to speak to the powers that be. Laws are designed and created by the government to maintain control. Very blessed we were to do the show and to meet their friends and family. Also for me to meet like-minded decent peoples from many backgrounds. If one can assist and one is approached in a respectful manner one is happy to do. On this occasion I recall the chap at one of me shows and we had had a conversation. I did a set and in it I was asked to sing a specific song luckily it is also a song I at present enjoy two versions the first (spacey) the second solo (raw)

Also there was a drum and bass bike ride on the Sunday. which we was able to cheer along. As a Original nutter I am soaked in the cross cultural musical moziac that is drum and bass.

Gedghe was there as was 2 other living legends as we travelled to the pub named after a writer I am better then, Shakespeare. It is also a area called the Vegas of Bristol. Blessed to hear Maxine and Chezney two top musicians making wonderful sounds (Romany Gaelic Celtic traditional folk sounds) as well as wonderful original compositions.
