When i am not kayaking I oft like to go through some jazz drumming basics it helps one temper the heart and soul. 70% of the world does not even allow one to make love to who one wants to make love to. Not only are women struggling in this world to have the right to choose.There are women struggling to have their voices heard. This male dominated world with “mrs. Macbeth” like characters behind them urging them on to greater levels of madness cruelty deception ….Fascism is on the increase and the pursuit and love of money is still a disease. I have who I call heroes from all parts of the world communicate with me or they have relatives pass on information to me. What government and leaders can we talk about? Can we make a joke? At their cost? China is out Arabia and its states India is untouchable (pun intended) Russia mr. Putin and his ilk got everybody kinda scared. We who talk about and live our lives with respect for all humanity are definitely on the back foot. LOVE that’s a word. Overused and not acted upon. As i am all man women raised. Those who have USED and harmed others YES apology is changed behaviour. Love has its variant forms and for many different meanings. What’s spoken is not its essence the action is gentle and caring and forgiving and also honest. It is not complex. It is not confusion. It is compromise. It is giving more then taking. It is difficult at times. It must have forgiveness. It may feel impossible at times to continue. All things in love can be resolved peacefully. One does not need to be a expert or have studied to get to it. Its right there. Treat those you hold close with love compassion and humanity. When I was young I saw our “elders” behave with what we thought was timidness in front of the ruling elite. The ruling elite was anyone who was Seen as part of the ruling class. In London we had West Indians Africans Indians Latino Europeans, all doing the same dance around the ruling elite. Who happened to be the great British in my life. I knew the elders were paving the way for me so we would not have to play the “game”.

…..The inequality amongst the ruling elite was also apparent with me young eyes. For example the Irish were more ostracised and mocked ridiculed and what we found strange was how they mocked each other before they were mocked. Now I understand the game much better. As i grew up I was told “you play the white man so well” all i did was assimilate with those who i grew up with. I know now it is not about who’s in charge. The illusion is gone. It is a big bad world. It is also a beautiful world. It is not about colour skin or faith. It is about power control submission and freedom. The world can be confusing who do we cuddle or hide from. All cultures regardless of skin or faith have a elite amongst them that try and push “our” experiences and to “fight” for our causes. So much intermingled ideas and expressions. We could celebrate that and then. We all love our children. Don’t all our children deserve a equal share?

As uncle Nutts (r.i.p) said “ we got to bang heads together ain’t we?” Banging heads is harder then banging the mike. But it’s so important.
Like many of those before me we have equal desire to fix the inequality in the Arab states and Russia and China and India as the United Kingdom and elsewhere… I am in awe of the great freedom fighters writers musicians creative communities that continue to sacrifice their lives and their children’s lives to install courage in our scared worried hearts.

True LOVE requires much sacrifice.

The ruling elite and their “puppets” work tirelessly to make sure we don’t see the world as ours. The world is yours daughters and sons. The world is at your disposal. So dance and write and party in al its forms. Or simply do what you feel to do. No pressure.

That’s the truth as i see it- so stand firm and don’t inspire to join the “puppets” of the ruling elite. Inspire to make the change that Wil make all our future generations stand proud. Regardless of where they are born or what tribe or culture we are born into. I make music to do that. I try and live to that idea. That’s of greater importance then my personal world. Personal development acceptance gentleness is essential. We are all works in progress. There is no human perfection. I know there is a future where we can all sleep peacefully with bellies fed and warm and cuddly.
